REQUIREMENTS

What kind of dog do you have?

We welcome almost all breeds, but for liability purposes we cannot take GERMAN SHEPHERDS, DOBERMANS, CHOWS, PIT BULLS AND ROTWEILERS. Mixes of these breeds may be acceptable upon a "meet and greet" appointment. We reserve the right to not take exceptionally small or large dogs.

Dogs over 7 months must be spayed or neutered.

All dogs must have all shots including rabies, distemper and kennel cough.

Flea protection required

Dogs must not be aggressive toward people, dogs or other animals.

Because this is a special environment where dogs are not caged, any behavior issues need to be disclosed beforehand . We want to make sure everyone is safe and you feel comfortable.

Dogs must be potty trained

We cannot take very old or very young dogs that are not potty trained or have special physical needs.

Obedience

Our yard is surrounded by a 4 foot fence. Dogs must be familiar with boundaries and not prone to jumping fences.

Most of our walks are off leash and in the woods. Dogs must be responsive to call commands.
